It is important for the youth to know about the city they are migrating to and start getting comfortable with their surroundings. According to me the best way to form an opinion about any place is to start exploring that place. As the current youth is actively inclined to their phones I have designed a mobile application called PALAT (a Hindi word meaning turn back) to help the youth familiarize with the city of Bhopal.

Research Process

What is P.A.L.A.T?

" Bro! there is nothing out here." I exclaimed on my first day in the city of Bhopal but soon stumbled on exceptional hidden gems.

PALAT (a hindi word meaning stop and lookback)  AKA Pause-A-Little-And-Think is an initiative started by me for the city of Bhopal in India. PALAT was initially flourishing as a rich hobby of mine wherein I used to write about my experiences about specific details but soon cultured into a mini startup. The main objective behind the blog was about unveiling the underdogs hidden in the complex geometry of the city waiting for their turn to shine.

Need Assessment & Inspiration

I started organised events and started attending blogger meets. I managed to talk to bloggers in the city and interviewed them. I then reached out to specific restaurant owners and interviewed them as well.  I finally came up with the actual needs of the people residing in Bhopal.
